Neighbor Rick Baxter, while converting an old farmhouse in Stockton, NJ to a beautfully restored B&B, found these "printing machines" in the barn of his new home... He wants to keep the C&P, "because it looks so neat" - but the Model 4 Vandercook's coming back to our shop for complete restoration... After visiting Rick's barn, Dave & I returned to the shop to begin work on the Ludlow... by the end of a rather fascinating and educational day, the 1929 Ludlow, and a very proud owner, were casting slugs again - for the first time since it went into storage in 1986...
