C&P or Gordon?
or is this one
The Missing Link?
George Phineas Gordon designed an upright platen press beginning in the 1850's.
Chandler & Price, of Cleveland, Ohio, bought the rights and built this press in the 1880's. It evolved into the beloved C&P.
But this one shows characteristics of both.
Is it a Gordon or a C&P ... Or is it the missing link???
