Totally restored to better than new condition. this press has been totally disassembled, each part has been sand blasted to bare metal, then refinished with baked enamel finish. All pins, bearings, rods, rollers, cores, trucks, have  been replaced with new ones. This press is extremely well built, It is designed  to very close tolerances, and its solid, robust design functions as smooth as silk.  With its new rollers, trucks and cores, it is ready to begin earning money for its new owner.

This press has been fully disassembled, sandblasted, repainted & reassembled to factory specifications. 

It was made by Chandler & Price about 100 years ago, but is now better than new.

Plus, the commonly-troublesome and overly-complex Thorp-designed gripper arm adjustment and actuator designed circa 1880 and never improved - until now - has been replaced with an improved mechanism - our "better way", based upon the simple and proven method used on the Kelsey 9x13 press.

Press comes with original Steel Pilot trucks and freshly-cast rubber rollers.

In addition, the impression lever has been replaced with a longer model than found on the original - offering increased leverage for more impression with less effort.
