Seeing the familar Guillotine style cutter of
1870 was not much of a surprise.
However, they also offered a "budget model"
cutter that used a totally different engineering
approach.
The Plow Paper Cutter employed a sharp blade
that ran in a channel and was manually pulled
through the stack of sheets, as one might use a
carpenter's knife to cut through drywall or a
stack of chipboard.
